Looking for a fun and entertaining theme for your child or teenager's next get together? We offer a range of private, in- home class packages aimed at entertaining kids and young adults of all ages. Not only will your youngsters have a blast working together to design their own custom pieces, they will go home with their own pieces of handmade jewelry, as well as learn a new jewelry design technique for creating more of their own pieces in the future.
Here's how it works...
1. Pick one of the following class packages:
Charm Necklaces and Bracelets (recommended for ages 6- 8 years old)
In this basic class, I will come to your home with a plethora of findings including a variety of beads, charms, and chords. Each child will get to pick the combination of charms/ chords/ beads they want to use to create their own necklace and bracelet and will be instructed on basic chord cutting, stringing, and finishing techniques.
Basic Beading/ Braiding Projects (recommended for ages 6- 11 years old)
I will come to your home with a huge selection of beads of varying sizes, shapes, and colors. Kids will be encouraged to select the bead colors of their choices in order to create their own customized sets of multi- stranded beaded bracelets, necklaces, and anklets
Friendship Bracelet/ Necklace Packs (recommended for ages 12 and up depending on complexity of project chosen)
Depending on the complexity of project chosen, this is a great party for entertaining guests of almost any age. I'll come to your home with a variety of string colors, beads, pendants, chords, and findings. Each participant will choose their preferred materials for the project and will be lead through detailed instruction for completing the project.
Crystal Wrap Bracelets (recommended for ages 13 and up)
I will come to your home with a wide selection of leather cord and bead colors. Each participant will choose their preferred color combination and be lead through detailed instructions for completing their own crystal wrap bracelet.
Chain Maille Bracelets (recommended for ages 16 and up)
Similar to our adult classes, we offer in- home chain maille classes for teenagers and young adults.
2. Contact us to schedule a date and time for your party, as well as decide on the party package that will be taught at the party
3. Two weeks prior to the party, finalize your number of guests
Each jewelry parties lasts approximately three between two and three hours during which time I will come to your home and teach your youngsters how to make the jewelry pieces of your choice. I come equiped with all of the supplies and meterials for everyone. At the end of each party, each guest will leave with their own finished pieces, as well as a box and any additional supplies they are interested in purchasing. The cost of each party is dependant on the peice of jewelry we choose to make but genrally runs between $60-100/ guest.
